Prayer Day
[lsvr_accordion][lsvr_accordion_item state=”open” title=”Objective of Prayer Day”]On Tuesday the 13th February, 2018 the County Assembly organised a prayer day event pioneered by the Hon Speaker Florence Mwangangi. The event was the first to be held since inception of the County Assembly of Machakos in 2013. The forum brought together both religious and political leaders from the County to pray together as the Assembly begun its second session. The common message by all speakers was to that is was necessary for the Assembly and the Executive to cooperate for the common good of the people of Machakos County.
In attendance was HE the Governor, Machakos County Senator, Women Representative, all members of the County Assembly, religious leaders representatives in the County.[/lsvr_accordion_item][/lsvr_accordion]
